At Seatrademarine.com, we are committed to honoring and respecting your individual privacy. The following paragraphs describe our privacy policies regarding the personal information you provide us as well as information we collect about how our visitors use our site.

Secure Shopping
All orders on our site are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology - one of the most prevalent and secure systems available online. SSL is an extremely complex form of cryptography that makes it virtually impossible for a third party to decrypt any personal information you provide. You can rest assured that your personal and credit card information is protected when transmitted online. You can find detailed information about SSL technology and how it works online using any of the search engines.

Personal Information
When placing your first order on Seatrademarine.com, you will be asked to provide billing and shipping information, which will be stored securely and used to process your order. Your information will then be pre-filled for your convenience on future orders. The information you supply is protected by your personal Password, along with your User ID, so that only you have access to your account information. You are free to review or change your account information at any time by clicking on the “Welcome Back” link that will be at the top left of each page once you have logged in.

E-mail
We believe that your e-mail address is private information and you have our assurance that we do not rent or sell your e-mail address to anyone. We use your email address to send you order-related emails, like shipping confirmations, as well as informational/sale newsletters. We will always try to contact you by phone if we have a question about an order you placed. If we are unable to reach you by phone, we may also try to contact you by e-mail.




Terms and Conditions of Purchase

Return Policy

Seatrademarine accepts returns and exchanges subject to the following return policy. 

Customers must request an authorization for all returns within 30 days of the original purchase invoice date.  Please contact our Customer Support Department for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (“RMA”) and instructions.  Returns without an RMA will not be accepted.  RMAs are valid for 15 days, and the product(s) must be received by Seatrademarine before the RMA expires.  Shipping charges are not refundable, and the Customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs.  The Customer Support Department will determine whether shipping insurance is required.

When you purchase any product from Seatrade Marine, you are entitled to the product’s manufacturer’s warranty against defective merchandise.  In order to efficiently process returns, customers may be referred directly to the manufacturer for some products.  These products, along with instructions for contacting the manufacturer, will be provided upon a request for an RMA.  These manufacturers will repair, return or replace the products in accordance with their own policies.  The Customer Support Department will provide specific information with respect to these products.

All non-defective return items are subject to a re-stocking fee of the greater of 15% or $35.00.  Live stock and live rocks are not returnable.  Chemical supplements and fish medications are not returnable once opened.  Filtration systems (wet/dry filters, skimmers, r/o units, etc.) are not returnable once used or placed in water.  All returns must be in a resalable condition and include all accessories, paper work (instructions), original box and packaging (unless exchanging for the same item, in which case we will retain anything missing from your return shipment). 

Product returns or exchanges that do not conform to the above policy may be refused, pro-rated based on the completion of the return, and/or subject to delays in processing.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability as to Products Sold

Except as expressly stated herein, Seatrademarine makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold, including but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability of Seatrademarine arising from any product sold by Seatrademarine shall be the price of the product ordered. In no event shall Seatrademarine, its directors, officers, employees or other representatives be held liable for special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to any product sold.

 

Sales Tax

Seatrade Marine will collect 6% sales tax for all orders to be delivered to addresses within the State of New Jersey.  Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state.

 

Applicable Law

In the event of any dispute about or involving this website or any transaction with Seatrademarine through this website or otherwise, you agree that the dispute will be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to its conflict of law provisions and such dispute will be venued solely and exclusively in the state and federal courts of New Jersey, County of Burlington.




SHIPPING POLICY

LIVESTOCK PURCHASE: CORALS - FISH - Invertebrates

Seatrade Marine's prices reflect a major discount based on volume. Your livestock purchase is based on an order of $200 or more. All livestock orders qualify for Air Freight Shipping to your closest International Airport. You pay the actual shipping charges, no mark up like other dealers. All you need to do is select the Air Freight Shipping option when checking out. You will not be charged for shipping when submitting the order. You pay the shipping at the Cargo area of your airport.

Shipping Instructions:
  • Coral Packs A and B - Must be sent Air Freight. To qualify for air freight service, your airport must be large enought to land midsize cargo planes (Northwest, Southwest, USAir, and Continental to name a few.)

  • Livestock Orders - Minimum $200 Order Amount - Can be sent Air Freight or Other Overnight Service. Must be overnight.

  • All other livestock orders (under $200) - must be placed by phone with our
    Customer Care Center - 609-953-3645. Monday thru Saturday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM PST.

  • Standard Over Night - means to your door via FedEx or UPS

  • Air Freight - means YOU pick up at Airport - $ave$ money
